Unrivalled expertise in laser material processing with over 50 laser systems
The following two reasons were decisive for the approval of BBW Lasertechnik as a DVS training centre: Firstly, the company has unique expertise in laser material processing, partly due to its 27 years of experience. Secondly, BBW has an extremely extensive machine park with around 50 laser systems:
"Our prerequisites make BBW Lasertechnik the ideal provider of application expertise in laser material processing," says Andreas Bürger, Managing Director of the family-run company based in Prutting near Rosenheim.
Internal DVS laser beam specialist course for own employees
BBW has been authorised to offer the DVS course for laser beam specialists specialising in welding, cutting and surface technology as well as the course for laser safety officers. The courses are organised by the Research & Development department, usually last five days and end with an examination, after which the participants receive an official DVS certificate that is independent of BBW. A special feature is that the training is only aimed at BBW's own employees and the costs are borne by BBW Lasertechnik:
"From the HR side, we are very pleased to invest in the individual development of our colleagues with the new course - with the DVS seal of quality, directly at BBW Lasertechnik and free of charge for participants and during working hours," says Kristina Bürger, Head of Human Resources.
The first course specialising in welding has already been successfully completed. The next laser safety officer course is planned for spring 2024.
The abbreviation DVS stands for the German Welding Society (Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V)
