BBW Lasertechnik is a family business and is managed by Hans and his son Andreas Bürger.
Hans Bürger is also one of the founders of BBW Lasertechnik.
As a planned apprenticeship as a carpenter (fortunately) did not materialize at the time, Hans began training as a mechanical engineer. He then set up his own business in 1997 with a laser system he had built himself.
Before his time as an entrepreneur, Hans was a successful striker for 1860 Rosenheim. The footballer gene also comes to the fore again and again at BBW - when it comes to projects, Hans wants a “joint drive towards the goal” and successes are also celebrated with pleasure.
Andreas Bürger has been Managing Director at BBW Lasertechnik since 2015.
Prior to this, Andreas completed a Master's degree in industrial engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and regularly worked in production at BBW during the vacations.
As Hans Bürger's business partner at the time left the company unplanned in 2015, Andreas joined the management team at the age of just 25.
Since he joined, the number of employees has more than doubled and the company has grown continuously.
Kristina Bürger has been with BBW Lasertechnik since 2022 and is responsible for Human Resources and Communications.
In HR, she is supported by her mother Maria Bürger, who managed the department for many years.
Before joining BBW, Kristina completed a Master's degree in International Public Relations at the LMU Munich, worked for three years at the energy company E.ON and is currently completing an MBA in Management and Leadership at the TH Rosenheim while working.
In addition to his two siblings, Matthias Bürger, the youngest son, joined the family business in January 2025. Matthias has completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and is now gaining experience and expertise in production in the field of laser welding.
As a regional family business, it is important for BBW Lasertechnik to be socially involved in the local area.
One passion of our owner family is sport - and the best way to do this is as a team. The reasons for this are obvious: sport unites people and makes a positive contribution to health and a longer, happier life. It is therefore a pleasure for us to support various sports clubs and groups in the areas of soccer, skiing, dance and more. A particular focus here is on young people.
We also maintain regular contact with schools and associations.
