Samples and prototypes can be produced on the extensive and flexible machinery and series on interlinked production lines. On the latter, the various testing, manufacturing, assembly and welding processes are integrated, and, at the same time, documentation of the various process steps is carried out at cell and module level. BBW processes cylindrical, prismatic and pouch cells.

"The availability of battery cells is a major issue today. In some cases, we don't know which cell types we will have to process in the future - but we are flexible enough to be able to react quickly to changes," says Andreas Bürger.
